Pear and Blueberry Bircher Muesli
Golden Circle has put a delicious and flavour-packed twist on the humble bircher muesli! Using the goodness of pear nectar and bursts of fresh blueberries, this healthy and nutritious bircher muesli is the perfect start to your day!
2 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of vanilla yoghurt
1 1/2 cups of Golden Circle Pear Nectar
1 tbsp of honey
150g of fresh blueberries
Zest of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tbsp of roasted pistachios, crushed
1 tbsp of roasted sesame seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
- Place rolled oats, vanilla yogurt and Golden Circle Pear Nectar in a bowl and mix through. Leave to soak refrigerated overnight.
- The next morning, take out the oats and stir through blueberries, lime zest and lime juice.
- In a separate bowl, combine the pistachios, sesame seeds and cinnamon.
- To put together, place the soaked oats mix in a bowl, and top with more fresh berries and the nut mixture. Serve immediately.
TIP: you can get creative with the Bircher muesli, try it with Mango Nectar topped with fresh mango and raspberries for a fresh twist for summer, or use Banana Mango Nectar and top with caramelised banana and a crunchy walnut crumb!
